Most Holy and Blessed Virgin Mary of Fatima, tender Mother of the Church, to fulfill the desires of the Sacred Heart of Jesus we consecrate ourselves, our families and our Parish, St. Scholastica, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through your Immaculate Heart.
Dearest Mother Mary, we humbly implore you to pray for us and all the people of our country and the world. Please accept our consecration, of daily family prayer, and inspire us to be God’s children who fulfill God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, in communion with the Im maculate Heart of Mary, rule over us, deliver us from all temptation, save us from the desires of modern paganism, and keep us from sin. O Jesus and Mary, kindle in our hearts, homes and parishes the love of purity, the practice of a virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, and a desire to pray – especially the Rosary.
O Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we, God’s children, know that all life, from conception to natural death, is sacred. Therefore, teach us your own preferential love for the little and the poor, for the excluded and the suffering, for sinners and the downhearted: bring everyone under your Motherly protection and please entrust our parish to your beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, make our hearts, homes and parishes your shrines, and through us may the glory of God, the Love of God and the Peace of God triumph in our parish, for we ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen!
Holy Mary, Virgin of Fatima, with renewed gratitude for your maternal presence, I join my voice to that of all the generations who call you blessed. Accept with the benevolence of a mother my sharing in the consecration of our family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through you Immaculate Heart.
Hold us in your arms; bless and strengthen every desire for good; revive and nourish faith; sustain and enlighten hope; awaken and animate charity; guide us along the path of holiness.
Bring every member of our family under your protection and entrust us to your beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
