daughters of st.scholastica

The Daughters of St. Scholastica is an auxiliary to the Knights of Columbus of our parish.  Our mission is to assist and encourage the Knights’ work in both the parish and the community.   The group is open to all women, age 18 and older, in the parish.

We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the church kitchen.  Some of our past projects have included:

• serving meals with the Knights at the parish picnic and other special parish events

• collecting donations for the youth in our parish

• participating in community fundraisers such as Race for the Cure

• adopting families for Christmas and coordinating gift donations

• sharing meals with and generating donations for Mother House

• attending women’s retreats at the Abbey of Walburga

• socializing to reinforce the bond of women in our church
