Students in the post-confirmation class will continue on their journey to eternity by learning to practice virtue, understanding the age appropriate teachings of The Theology of the Body, and understanding the vocations of marriage, holy orders, religious life, and consecrated single life.    The class is designed for 4th and 5th graders who have been confirmed.   The portion of the Theology of the Body studied examines how man lived before sin entered the world. The goal of the class is for students to be prepared to live a life of virtue as a Catholic middle and high school student.  Parents are encouraged to attend  class along with their student on Tuesdays during the school year from 4:30pm – 5:45pm.

The objectives of the 2-year class is for students to learn about:

  1. Virtues
  2. The Theology of the Body
  3. Vocations

Core Curriculum – Students cycle through the following curriculum over a two year period:

  1. Arise – integrates the best in neurobiology with the call to holiness and virtue
  2. Theology of the Body – The Human Heart for 3rd through 5th Graders  Supplemental Curriculum includes – The Lincoln Diocese Curriculum
  3. Cultivating Virtues by the Dominican Sisters of Mary Supplemental Curriculum includes – The Nashville Dominicans Curriculum
  4. Our Lady of the Rosary Family Catechism (lessons  25, 26) Supplemental Curriculum includes – Vianney Vocations
